is displaying when I start Comply Guard. What can I do to get rid of
it?
A: Someone started a process in Comply Guard that needs to have everyone out of the system to be performed. Since Comply Guard is a multi-user system the program creates a file named SHUTDOWN.TXT in the Comply Guard Shared folder (normally located at C:\Program Files\Comply Guard Shared) to keep other users from signing in when system maintenance is being performed. If you are sure no one has system maintenance running then you can delete the SHUTDOWN.TXT file (ex. using Windows Explorer) and you should be able to get in to Comply Guard. Q: I need to reinstall Comply Guard on a different computer or after my hard drive has been reformatted. How do I do that?A: Restore a backup of the Comply Guard Shared folder to the exact location that it was backed up from (same drive letter/folder). This is normally located at C:\Program Files\Comply Guard Shared. Run the setup.exe that is in the Client Install folder of Comply Guard Shared.
